Detroit, Mich.,
May 16th, 1904.

Dear Mr. Freer:--

Since my letter of the 12th instant, the following mail matter has been received:--

No. 15. Letter postmarked Liverpool,
16. Letter from the Mayor's office,
17. Letter from C. M. Hayes & Co.,
18. Letter from #665 Third Ave.,
19. Letter from The National Arts Club.

I have acknowledged the receipt of Nos. 16, 17 & 18, stating that you are now abroad.

On Friday afternoon, the etchings returned by the Grolier Club were delivered to me, in good condition, by the Express Company. I checked them over carefully against the list, and found that all were returned receipt of which I acknowledged to Mr. Manfield. Stephen has taken the etchings to your house.

The panels, which Mr. Coolidge spoke of in his letter as about to be shipped, have not come to hand, and I am to-day writing him to know if they were shipped.

The photograph of the jar has come in from Hayes & Company, and I am to-day sending it to Mr. Kelekian at New York.
