to deliver the same to the United States Section of the Art Building.  I hope to have them leave Detroit on either May 2nd or 3rd, which is the earliest date possible.

With the wood-carvings secured and the pastels all pledged, you can rest assured that Room 21, when the hanging is completed, will be one of the most refined rooms of all those in your charge; and I hope that you will yourself received much satisfaction and pleasure from this source.

I shall sail for England on May 4th, but shall return about the middle of June, shortly after which I shall visit the Exhibition, and hope for the pleasure of then seeing you and looking over your Department personally with you.
