hay fever for sometime before you left America. I hope it has all left you long since, and that you are having a perfect holiday.

I imagine that the Peacock Room, which is now on exhibition at Obach's gallery, #168 New Bond Street, will have left England before your arrival. Still, if you have time, I would advise you to call at the Obach Galleries, in the hopes of having a glimpse of the room. You will find Mr. Gustav Mayer, one of the partners of Obach & Company, a very interesting gentlemen, and a keen student of Mr. Whistler's art. He has secured for me from time to time some beautiful prints, also a few of Mr. Whistler's paintings in oil, water color and pastel. I am sure you will need no introduction to him, so I send none.

I am planning to remain pretty close to Detroit during the balance of this year, and am glad to say that I find life here very pleasant.

Wishing you the pleasantest of vacations, the enjoyment of excellent health, and a safe return to American, I remain,

Yours faithfully,
Charles L. Freer
