30th, 1908, amount $4,500.00, bearing interest at 6% per annum, payable semi-annually, with November 30th, 1904 coupon, and subsequent coupons, attached thereto; with the endorsement of Charles L. Freer upon the not3e and each of the coupons.

Mortgage Deed, Charles V. Lang and Wife to Charles L. Freer, $4,500.00, dated November 30th, 1903 for property known as Lot 9, Block 2 of Penniman's Addition to the City of Minneapolis, Minn.

Abstract of Title to above described property.

Charlie Lang has always been most prompt in the payment of the interest, in fact, his draft for the amount has usually been received a few days in advance of the due date. I have, therefore, always held the interest coupon until the receipt of his check, after which, I have forwarded it to him, cancelled.

On the note for $4,500.00, you will find that the interest date named upon the coupons are April 30th and November 30th. I presume it was a mistake in writing in the word April where May should be used, consequently the interest for the first yearly period is payable on May 31st, instead of April 30th.

I have figured up the amount of interest earned on the notes to date, less the interest on my note from July 1st, and make the result, as follows:-

On $2,000. April 23 to July 5, '04 - 2 mos., 12 days,at 5% = $24.00
On $4,500. May 31 to July 5, '04 - 1 mo., 5 days,at 6% = 26.25
   $6,500. $50.25
