P.S.

Mr. Henry Russel has just called in connection with the Fontinalis Club matter. The membership is being reduced, and it now numbers nineteen. I have executed in your behalf an agreement to join the other subscribers in paying into the treasury of the Club an amount not to exceed $375.00. In arranging this, a settlement of your loan will be made of the date of May 1st - which I trust will meet your approval.

As Mr. Russel tells me, this is simply carrying out the scheme which was discussed last year at the meeting, at which you were present. Subscriptions received by the Club will pay off all the indebtedness and pay it for this amount in full; and in the adjustment of your loan, you will not have to make any payment, but about three or four hundred dollars will be paid to you.
