Washington the latter part of this week. I shall take the liberty of sending your correspondence, together with the reports, to him for his perusal, and I shall also tell him, at the same time, of my suggestions for your herein set forth. You will see that by sending the reports directly to him, he can afterwards send them here for my examination and for filing here should he care to continue the old system.
You are very well, I trust, and the outlook for business is encouraging, I hope. 
On Wednesday next, May 4th, I shall sail for England to be absent about six weeks.
Henry, as you doubtless know, is now here and is gradually familiarizing himself with his father's personal business, and is also working in the office of the Union Trust Company. He looks very well and seems much pleased with his new responsibilities.
