My dear Sir.-

I am glad to have your letter of April 25th, and to know that Mr. Migeon, Conservateur of the Musee du Louvre, is about to publish a book on the famous potteries known, and I will be glad to furnish a photograph of the piece now in my collection mentioned in your letter.

Inasmuch as the photograph cannot be made in time for me to take it to Paris personally, I will have it sent to you at New York, and you or your brother can in turn send it to Mr. Migeon.

I understand from your letter the piece you would like me to photograph is the brown jug with a single handle, purchased by me last year while in Paris, through Mr. Bing. Am I right in my understanding?

Please let me know by return mail, in order that the necessary instructions can be given to the photographer before my departure from Detroit on Monday next.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
