Dear Mansfield:--

If it will not trouble you too much, will you kindly drop me a line, letting me know how many etchings by Mr. Whistler you have seen of the so-called Buffalo Bill plates. The Grolier Catalogue mentions three, but I have seen two only -- supplemental 290 "The Bucking Horse" and Grolier #241 "Wild West - Buffalo Bill". Wedmore #228 "The Wild West", I cannot recall having seen. Is there such an etching, or are Wedmore #228 and Grolier #241 the same subject?

Thanking you in advance,

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
