Dear Sir:--
I enclose herewith for your information a copy of a letter from Mr. Harry S. Andrews of Sheffield, which reached me this morning. You may read the copy of the letter and then destroy it. I also hand you herewith a copy of my reply to Mr. Andrews, which explains itself.

As you know, I am anxious to get the old school-house off my property, as it simply affords a resting-place for tramps, and is also a dangerous fire risk. I have said to Mr. Andrews that I would contribute the use of my teams and wagons to draw the material, after the building is demolished, to its new site in New Guinea. Now, if the Selectmen decide to remove the building, let them demolish it, and you turn in your teams and haul the material to whatever place they may wish to have it, and make no charge for the haulage. Immediately after the school-house shall have been removed, run a temporary fence, either of wire or old fence boards or old fence rails, along the roadway in front of the land upon which the school-house now stands.
