Charles L Freer, Esq.,
Care, Waldorf-Astoria Hotel,
New York City.

Dear Mr. Freer:-

The only letters in to-day's mail, are the following:-

No. 20. From Mr. Charles J. Morse,
No. 21. From V. G. Fischer Art Galleries,
No. 22. From National Sculpture Society,

No word of any kind, has been received from the Grolier Club.

The carriages went this morning, to Kingston and the farm, charges prepaid.

Nellie came in from Birmingham, yesterday, and called at the office. She said she would not return to Birmingham, but would go to her sister's, and send me her address. She says she is very much better.

Steven reports everything alright at the house, the work of painting, progressing.

Everything quiet, except in connection with the primaries. The odds on Codd against Frazer and Black, are 40 to 1, and the interest seems to be centered in the Newberry-Denby contest for Congress.

Yours very truly,
Jack Kennedy
