you approve. I fear we have little chance of exhibiting the companion to our screen because Mrs H has given it away to one of her daughters, who is not interested in Museum work I hear. Mrs Meyer's fine bronze has arrived and I am having a pedestal & glass case made for it. It is really very wonderful and better than anything Mr Sumitomo has (I prescribed him with a photo which was cruel perhaps.) I saw Kalukian's Sung pottery, there are very fine pieces in the lot, but I fear that he overrates their commercial value terribly. At all events they will make a fine display in your Chicago show. The man himself seems very ill.

Believe me
Yours sincerely
