be reinstated as a Bureau agent but I do not consider Dr. Hunsaker to be a fit person to hold any office of honor or trust. I temporarily assigned Capt F. W. Reinhard to duty at Crockett as he was the only agent at my disposal; otherwise, I should not have reinstated him in a place from which he had just been removed by higher authority. There are, of course, some evilly disposed men in Crockett but the general disposition appears to be good; and I am of the opinion that Dr. Hunsaker himself was the sole cause of the disturbance which resulted in his flight from the place.
