Personally appeared before me on oath says, that Dr. Hunsaker was at my house in the town of Crockett on the night of the 24 of Sept. 1867- and to the best of my belief and knowledge he was not drunk, nor under the influence of intoxicating liquors sufficiently to disqualify him for business, he was in my parlor, was very quiet, and gentlemanly, and remained in my house between 20 and 30 minutes, this was about 8 or 9 o'clock at night; there was no intoxicating liquors in my house or any drank there as I know of; My room is next to the room the Dr. occupies and I do not believe the Dr could have been drunk with out my having known it- Mr. Thompson. & Foster were in conversation that is Thompson with Dr Hunsaker in my parlor, the interview I suppose did not last over 10 or 15 minutes; the Dr was not Drunk at that time- The Dr left my house about 10 minutes after the conversation took place between him and Thompson
