County Judge, Trinity County Texas

Whereas it has been made known to me that you, as County Judge of Trinity County Texas, did, at a Term of your court begun and holden at the court house in said Trinity County on Monday the 28th day of October 1867, in a Trial then pending in your said court unlawfully and in violation of Circular No 13. issued from Head Quarters District of Texas and dated Galveston Texas April 27" 1867, proceed to impannel a Jury of Persons disqualified by law to serve as Jurors and the said persons so disqualified did serve as jurors in your said court.  You are therefore hereby commanded to report at my office as above on next Tuesday the 12th day of November, present then and there to defend yourself from the charge as above set out  Your prompt attendance as above named will relieve yourself of the trouble and expense and will also relieve me of the necessity of taking such measures as will ensure your arrest and trial by a military commission under under
