Fort Bend County   } To Capt. W.H. Rock Sub Asst Agent Freedmans Bureau & Abandoned Lands.

You are hereby commanded to bring the body of J. King, now in custody, or under restraint by your order, before me at the Court House in Richmond in said County on Tuesday the fourth (4) day of February Eighteen hundred and sixty-eight at 9 o'clock a.m. and show why the said J.King is so held in custody, or under restraint.

Given under my hand, and the seal of the County Court at Office in Richmond this the third (3) day of February, Eighteen Hundred and sixty-eight.
