Sir I have the honor to make the following additional report, also a correction of my report of the 23d ult
A freedman named — Idle has been missing since the riot of the 15th ult, and it is feared he was killed.

In my report of the 23d ult, I stated it as my opinion that Holiday gave the first fire &c Since writing the above mentioned report, I have become convinced by the evidence of several reliable witnesses that I have done Holiday and the Whites injustice in said opinion

Mr G.A. Wheat states that he saw the gun fire in the hands of a freedman, which statement is corroborated
