I missed my money after the fire; when my furniture was returned to the house: about day break - I had it that day but had not seen it for several days_ I cannot lock my bureau, consequently my money was not locked up. I thought from the prisoners manner that he would obtain my money for me.

Cross Examination. - My new house in which I live has locks - My things were placed in the yard near a negro house
