all the trunks were marked with Keys name or not - but some were. There was nothing about the wagon to excite suspicion - On some of the trunks and boxes, I saw that they had been consigned to Cunningham.

Fannie McMillan being duly sworn testified as follows: I live with Mr. Mc Millan right back of the Baptist Church. I was at home the night of the fire & when it broke out I went down to Mr. Venks store. I met one man while going down there - He was dressed in light clothes - He had on a light hat tolerably broad brimmed. I took him at first to be Mr. George Gegenworth, and thought I would speak to him and did not do so when I found it not to be him - He went rapidly by me with a bundle under his arm.

I staid in front of the store about 15 or 20 minutes - When I went back home, I met two men, one taller than the other: the smaller was dressed like the man I met when going down to the store - the latter had light pants and a lighter colored hat with a brim 3 inches broad. - The smaller man was wiping the sweat off of his face - The men were coming towards the fire - I would not know either of the men if I were to see them now. The men were walking engaged in conversation
