Detroit, Mich., October 12th, 1905.

My dear Mr. North:-

Your favor of the 9th inst. is received and I thank you for the information given therein.

I note that you have placed to my credit on your books the sum of $484.51. The same being the net result of the books you so kindly sold for me. The credit may stand for the present, at least, and when I require a remittance I will give you ample notice.

It would be interesting to know the individual prices received for the items. And if it is not asking too much I would be pleased to have your book-keeper furnish me a memorandum thereof, at his convenience.

I expect to be in New York the latter part of this month, or early in November, and will then do myself the pleasure of calling upon you.

With kind regards, I am,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
