After the receipt of the report [[inserted]] if satisfactory [[/inserted]] the plan is to obtain the owner's price for the Makemono and an option for a stated period. Then, if the owner will not send it here for examination, to offer him a premium for doing so. 

In this way Mr. Matsuki thinks the painting can be seen here before buying, and with only the expense of the premium [[inserted]] of [[?]] [[/inserted]] for sending the painting and that of inspection. This plan seems, to me, feasible and expeditous.
