My dear Sir:-

Your kind note of October 30th is at hand. And in reply I beg to say, that I would be pleased to see the large , provided, in your opinion, it is a very fine specimen of this artists work.

Naturally, I would not care to have so large a picture, unless it is an especially fine one. With this understanding, you may if you wish, send the Kakemono to my address, as above, by express.

The house-cleaning operations have been in progress recently and I have not been able to get at the Ninagawa books, but will do so in a few days, and forward them to your Boston address for translation.

With all good wishes, I remain,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
