Gentlemen:-

Enclosed herewith, I take pleasure in handing you, Mr. Charles L. Freer's check, to your order, for $102.47. In payment of your account of alterations at #33 Ferry Avenue, dated November 10th, less the amount of three items which have been deducted. 

The first two items on the bill are deducted parting the receipt of details covering them, and the last item is deducted because the work was included in the contract, all of which your Mr. Chubb is familiar with and at whose suggestion the amounts were stricken from the bill. 

Kindly receipt the voucher also enclosed herewith and return to me at your early convenience.
