New York City.

Dear Mr. Warrington:-
In reply to a telegram which I sent the Hudson River Blue Stone Co. last week, I am just in receipt of the disheartening news that the chimney caps will not leave Kingston until this afternoon. The stone setters are all through with the rest of their work and the men have been withdrawn from the job. It will probably be a week or ten days before the stone reaches us.

Last week I talked with Holmes & Co. of this city, relative to the roofing tiles, and you will note the condition respecting the tiles from the copy of The Akron Tile Company's letter to Holmes & Co., enclosed herewith; giving the time of delivery of the tiles, as you will see, very indefinite.

The first proofing people are at work on the roof and some carpenters and steam fitters are at work in various parts of the building.

Yours very truly,
JM Kennedy
