#33 Ferry Avenue,
Michigan, Detroit,
December 21st, 1905.

Dear Church:--
Thanks for your kind note of the 19th instant and for your good Christmas wishes. Let me hope that you, too, will enjoy a very Merry Christmas.

You are perfectly right about the skull. It would never do for the young Pegasus to [[strikethrough]] grow [[/strikethrough]] bolt, and how unfortunate it would be if Cupid were to be scared out of the canvass.

Out first real winter storm is here to-day and with the lowering temperature we are likely to have snow to-morrow- I hope so - it will be pleasant for those who are young enough to enjoy holiday festivities. You and I need the protection of Red Jack Axe Cave and plenty of "microbe killer."

Always faithfully yours,
Charles L Freer
