Dear Dewing:--
I enclose herewith a letter from Bixby concerning the Twachtman pictures, now in charge of Mr. Dustin. Bixby, evidently wants to be steered on to the best one obtainable, wishing, most likely, to secure it for the St. Louis Museum of Fine Arts. You know all about these pictures and I have so written Mr. Bixby, and have told him that I am sending his letter to you. Will you look into the matter carefully and favor me with your suggestions in the matter so that I can send then on to Bixby?

Wishing you a very pleasant Holiday week, I remain,
As ever very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
