Mr Richard E. Follett,
Care, New England Forest, Fish and Game Association,
Room 14, Pierce Bldg., Copley Square,
Boston, Mass.

My dear Sir:-,

Your letter of August 6th is received and fully noted.

I appreciate all that you say concerning my farm near Sheffield, but I would not for a moment consider selling it at any where near the figures named by you.

I hope to keep the place for my own pleasure, and the truth is I would not sell it for less than the money I have expended upon it, and that equals much more than twice your ideas of its value, so you will see that there is little prospect of your friend meeting my views.

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
