Cambridge, Mass.

Dear Mr. Dan:-

I am very happy to learn from your good letter of the 7th instant, of your meeting with Mr. Forbes and of his kindness to you, also to learn that you have found a convenient and comfortable place to live. And I must further say that in deciding to enter the Summer School of Harvard I think you have acted most wisely and I feel confident that you will find the study very interesting and beneficial; furthermore, locating at Cambridge puts you in close touch with the Boston Museum collections which I feel will bring you heaps of pleasure, as well as fresher views on Oriental art in comparison with the European.

I expect to be in Boston about the 23rd instant to spend two or three days. I shall stop at the Copley-Plaza Hotel and am trusting during my hurried visit in Boston to see you [[illegible]] for only a few moments.

With every good wish, believe me,
Sincerely yours,
