I am wondering whether you are to be here on Monday, or only Tuesday. Mr. Ushikubo told me that he was expecting to get his Japanese Buddhist paintings in on time for you to see them before you sailed. That would probably be on Tuesday, if at all.

I must tell you of my plans on Tuesday. At 4 p.m. I have to give the first of a course of lectures on the history of Chinese Art at the Drexel Institute, Philadelphia- But I need not leave New York till 1 p.m. So, if you need me, I can give you all the time from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., going right
from Yamanakas to the train. Also, if you are here on [[strikethrough]] Tuesday [[/strikethrough]] Monday morning afternoon or evening, I can be with you as much as you may wish.
