#915 Union Trust Building,
Detroit, Michigan,
February 9th, 1906.

Mr. F.B. Dickerson, Postmaster,
Detroit, Michigan.

Dear Sir:—

I was this morning in receipt of a letter, the envelope containing which, I enclose herewith. The envelope, as you will see, is addressed to, "Charles D. Freer, Detroit, Mich." The stamp of the New York Post Office shows it to have been mailed from Station "E", January 27th, at 3 P.M.: and the stamp of the Detroit Post Office shows its receipt in Detroit on January 29th, at 11 A.M.

As the letter was not delivered to me until 10 A.M. to-day, February 9th, at my office, #915 Union Trust Building, will you be good enough to investigate into and let me know the cause of the delay in my receiving it, and greatly oblige,

Yours truly,
Charles L. Freer

Enclosure.
