#915 Union Trust Building.
Detroit, Michigan,
June 2nd, 1990

Messrs. Angell, Boynton, McMillan & Bodman,
-Detroit, Michigan.

Gentlemen:--

I am advised that litigation is pending in the Supreme Court of Michigan which will determine the right of the City of Detroit to build, own and possibly operate street car lines within its limits. If such action on the part of the city is not warranted in your judgement under the law, I will be glad to have you arrange, if possible, to appear in the Supreme Court in opposition to the proposed action and make every possible effort to obtain a ruling from the Supreme Court that such power is not possessed by the City of Detroit.

Yours truly,
Charles L. Freer
