find consists of the entire wood work of a larger room in a splendid o[[strikethrough]] f [[/strikethrough]]ld Convent in Naples now being torn down. We shall use the wood work in the larger studio, the smoking room and reception hall of the villa. At the same convent we secured an old marble well curb and columns also an old wrot iron frame used for hoisting water from a cistern. These articles we shall use in our garden for the same purpose they served in the Convent.
 
Aside from this trip I have not been away from Capri. There is much to do here, walking, boating, swimming, gathering wild flowers, fussing with the garden, making changes in the house, getting acquainted with-the-people of the island and what is not the least important of all storing away about ten hours sleep out of every twenty four. 

The grapes are now being gathered, and wine making has begun - figs are at their best, and other fruits and vegetables are plenty and cheap. 

The hotels are opening for the autumn travel and within one month from now the tides
