been delighted hour after hour, and day after day, with collections both private and public of extreme interest. Of course, there is much rubbish but Spain can still delight this sympathetic lover of natural beauty of landscape, of architecture of sculpture, of wood carving, pottery, glazes, metal work, painting, weaving and textile fabrics of many sorts. Yesterday our party went out to a nearby suburb called Italica, and dropped a tear over the birthplace of Hadrian -- the real art lover of the Roman Empire. Tomorrow we start for Cordova.

Tom and Coleman beg to be remembered along with me in greetings to yourself and family.

P.S. I ordered mail and telegrams if any, sent to Madrid, so I have had no word from America since leaving Capri, and expect none until we reach Madrid on the 30th inst.
