Dear Mr. Freer:

I am answering your letter of January 28th to say that the Committee, of which I wrote you on January 26th, will, with the exception of President Angell, leave Washington on the 13th instant for Detroit, via Buffalo, expecting to reach the Hotel Cadillac between one and two o'clock in the afternoon of the 14th, and to be joined there by President Angell.

I do not know whether or not we can call upon you the same afternoon, but I am sure that it is our desire to do so at the earliest moment.

Very sincerely yours,

S P Langley
Secretary.
