Dear Mr. Freer:
I telegraphed you this morning that Mr. Henderson was ill, and that Mr. Bell and I would leave tonight, hoping to be in Detroit tomorrow in spite of the storm.

Since this telegram, Mr. Bell also has been taken ill, and is in bed, and without either of these gentlemen, it has seemed to me that I must, though most reluctantly, postpone the visit until later arrangements, as I have said in my second telegram of this date.

Believe me, with very sincere regard,
Yours,
S P Langley
Secretary.
