I am not sure whether I spoke with you about cutting a good supply of chestnut rails and posts to be used next Spring in rebuilding the line fence along the north boundary of my pasture lots. I refer to the fence running from the highway near the site of the old school house up to the woods on the hillside above.

I shall be in Detroit until the twelfth of November and if you have anything you want to write me about, let me hear from you before that time. As mentioned to you while at the farm, I shall be absent from Detroit all Winter, in fact up to the early part of next Summer, so it would be well to write me concerning matters on which you may want advice during that period.

With kind regards,

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
