In acknowledging the receipt of letters No's 64 and 65, (from Mr. Murphy and Mr. Seligmann, respectively) I stated you had sailed for the Orient on the 15th of November; that your residence is closed, and the art objects in storage.

To Mr. Roullier, (to whom I returned the drawing as requested) I stated that you would probably not return home before May, next, and if the drawing is in his possession at that time, you would no doubt be glad to see it, and if he cared to have me forward it to you abroad, I should be glad to do so.
