I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 10th inst. addressed to Mr. Freer. and I regret that owing to Mr. Freer's absence, he is unable to reply to you promptly.
Mr. Freer is on a trip to the Orient, and does not expect to return before May or June, next. I shall be writing him Monday at Ceylon, and will enclose your letter therewith.
