Mr. Dikran G. Kelekian,
No. 252 Fifth Avenue, New York City, N. Y.

My dear Sir:-

I reached home on Saturday last and found the two pieces of pottery awaiting my arrival.

The large jar is certainly a very beautiful specimen and I am glad to have it. The two bowls were very carefully examined yesterday and I greatly prefer the last one purchased, the iridescence and colour being much richer than the one earlier selected, and after careful thought I have concluded to keep one only. You know that I am not particularly interested in specimens of decorated Persian pottery and one of these bowls, consequently, will satisfy me. The first bowl purchased has been carefully packed in two boxes and will be forwarded to you by American Express to-day.
