November 6, 1951

Dear Contributing Member:

Anticipating very great success for the opening of the Museum's retrospective exhibition of the work of Henri Matisse, the Board of Trustees has concluded that the Contributing Members of the Museum might appreciate a special opportunity of viewing the exhibition again shortly after the opening.

Accordingly, Monday evening, November 26th has been set aside and the Museum is to be kept open exclusively for Contributing Members and their friends from 8:30 to 11 P.M. At that time you will be able to see both the Henri Matisse Exhibition and a Private Preview of "Good Design, 1951", the Museum's annual review of home furnishings, before it is shown to our regular members and the public. We hope that you will wish to come and bring any interested guests.

Kindly fill our and return the enclosed post card so we may send you the necessary tickets.

Sincerely yours,
