My dear Mr Freer: Your favor of the 11th instant has been duly received, also the seven pieces of pottery which you returned from memorandum.
Enclosed please find bill for the four pieces which you have kept. I am very glad that you have kept the beautiful little jar #2188. The golden iridescence on this piece is extremely fine I felt sure that you were keeping this piece.
I am leaving on the 18th and if entirely convenient to you, I should be pleased to receive a check as you suggest, before I go. Wishing you a pleasant summer, I remain, Very sincerely yours.
