YAMANAKA & COMPANY
254 FIFTH AVE., NEW YORK

Mr. J. M. Kennedy,
Detroit, Mich.

Dear Sir:

Mr. Uchikubo, who has been quite ill and confined to indoors for the past ten days, asked me to answer your better of Jan. 11th.

We are quite sorry for delaying in sending the articles Mr. Freer purchased. The reason is that of taking photographs of them of which Mr. Ushikubo explained to you in his last communication.

But I am happy to inform you that we got the articles back from the Studio to-day and shipment will be made to-morrow without fail.

We all hope that Mr. Ushikubo's illness will have no complication and that he will be able to attend to his duties soon.

Regretting the delay and hoping this letter explains it all.

I am
Sincerely yours.
