The Bureau has obtained school rooms for the NY NFR Asso Grammar School at Cor 14 & M Sts. also quarters for their teachers, quarters & school rooms have been furnished to the American Missionary Asso at Campbell Hospital. The Soldiers Free Library & Building have also been placed by the Bureaus in charge of the same society. The building has been refitted, another placed near it and two day schools will be taught there. The Library has been enlarged & will be the Depository for all the books donated to the Bureau in this Dep't. A lady will be in attendance daily as librarian, and in addition to books loaned to [[strikethrough]] to [[/strikethrough]] soldiers as heretofore. Colored persons will have access to the Library and small Libraries will be provided as far as may be, for the various schools - further donations of books are desired The Lincoln Hospt Chapel has been removed to a lot obtained & will soon be ready for the occupation. The Old School Presb School taught by Rev Wm Aikin will occupy the Building
