Parts of L'Overture and Sickles Hospital and "Construction Bks" are being fitted up in Alexandria for schools & teachers quarters, and a part is now occupied. Also Three other Buildings in that city are being prepared for schools. Buildings fitted up for schools have been obtained across the East Branch, but have not yet been removed to localities where they are needed.

Application has been made for a Building to be divided and a part placed at Halls Hill and another part at Falls Church. The removal is promised by the Colored people who have purchased the necessary ground.

By the request of the Trustees of Colored Schools, assistance has been rendered in finding a suitable lot in Georgetown and also three other lots in this city, and in view of the speedy purchase of such land by the trustees, application has been made for buildings to be placed thereon.
