and thirty eight (238) woman have received such instruction during the past month and have received pay for their work in clothing & food, so that they have been able to attend these schools.

We want to teach women to cook, but are unable to do it because of the expense necessary in such a Dep't.

The women need to be taught to wash & iron property & this can be done in some of the schools where water is convenient. Something has thus been added to the funds of one of the schools.

We want to give clothing & other assistance to women after they have worked enough to part pay the worth of the gift.
