(1) We want to teach women to cut & sew garments & knit so that they can [[strikethrough]] take better care of their fa [[/strikethrough]] fix clothing for their own families, and get better wages when they work out. - Women have received such instruction during the past month, and have received pay for their work in clothing & food so that they have been able to attend these schools.

(2) We want to teach women to cook but are unable to do it, [[strikethrough]] but [[/strikethrough]] because of the expense necessary in such a Dep't.

3. The women need to be taught to wash & iron properly & this [[strikethrough]] they [[/strikethrough]] can be [[strikethrough]] taught [[/strikethrough]] done in some of the Schools, where water is convenient [[strikethrough]] without expense. on the contrary  [[/strikethrough]] some thing [[strikethrough]] revenue [[/strikethrough]] has thus [[strikethrough]] allowed to some [[/strikethrough]] been made by one of the schools.
