Dear Sir:-

Your letter of November 16th, together with the package of prints, came duly.

I have given careful examination of the prints, and have decided to keep the following:

THE TOILET W 6
THE FORGE, PASSAGE du DRAGON W 72
PRIESTS HOUSE, ROUEN. I. W 74

The other two prints will be returned by express, charges prepaid, tomorrow. Of ENCAMPING W 75, I already have an impression from the destroyed plate.

Of the Portraits mentioned in your letter, you may send me the three photographs of Whistler taken in his Studio.  All of the others mentioned, I already have.

Be good enough to send bill at your convenience, including the three photographs.
