Detroit, Michigan,
December 13th, 1907.

Dear Mr. Bacon:-

My trip to Windsor proved a little too much for me. On my return to New York I caught a very severe cold, which kept me in bed at my hotel in New York the greater part of Wednesday and Thursday. I telephoned your office on Wednesday, but was too ill to see you, and yesterday, as you were out of town, it was again impossible.

Early in January, I shall be in New York again, and hope to then know of my movements far enough in advance to make an engagement with you for some hour and day.

Believe me.

Yours very sincerely,
Charles L Freer
