184 [[symbol checkmark]] #33 Ferry Avenue, Detroit Michigan, December 23rd, 1907. Dear Church:- Many thanks for the newspaper clipping Which came recently. I passed through New York during the early part of last week and had a few minutes between trains, which I devoted to the present winter Exhibition of the Academy. I had the pleasure of seeing your picture “The Mists of Stonehenge”. Surely it is very beautiful and filled with that misterious [[mysterious]] weirdness which you express so perfectly. I enjoyed the picture very much and am glad you called my attention to it. I trust you are keeping very well, and am wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Very sincerely yours, Charles L Freer Mr. F. S. Church, Carnegie building 57th St. & 7th Avenue, New York, N. Y.
