Gentlemen:-

Enclosed herewith, please find draft on New York to your order for $5, in payment of bill of December 30th for 100 clippings to be sent Mr. Charles L. Freer.

Mr. Freer informed me yesterday that no clippings have yet been received by him. The newspapers had knowledge of the letter pertaining to "Whistler's Letters", copy of which I sent you, the same day my letter was forwarded you, and in a few cases, a day or two earlier.

Have you scrutinized papers from and after December 24th for notices pertaining to this letter?

Kindly acknowledge receipt of the draft herein, and greatly oblige,

Yours very truly,
JM Kennedy
