My dear Mr. Hopkins:-

Your kind letter of October 23rd, came this morning, and I thank you for your prompt action. In this matter, I am acting for Miss. Rosalind Birnie-Philip, the executrix of Mr. Whistler's will, and I must refer your proposition to her for condiseration. She resides in England, whether the proposition will be sent, and I should receive word from her during the next three or four weeks, when I shall be pleased to write you definitely. In the meantime, kindly take good care of this copy.

Very sincerely yours,
